Autumn at its most theatrical: a canopy of orange, ochre and deep crimson above a still canal that doubles the spectacle in reverse. Painted in acrylic with a deliberate layering technique, the warm tones of the foliage are set against the cool, muted darks of the water, creating a tension between warmth and stillness that is the emotional heart of the work.
