Silenzio Blu

The largest canvas in this series is also the most spare: a vast field of deep Prussian blue, interrupted only by the faintest suggestion of a horizon line and, in the lower third, the ghostly reflection of a winter moon. This is a painting about quietude — about the moments between sounds, the held breath before sleep. The square format was deliberate, refusing the implied narrative of a horizontal landscape and insisting instead on pure presence.
